CNIT - Carrefour des Nouvelles Initiatives et Tendances
The Center for New Initiatives and Trends, the CNIT, is one of the first buildings to ever be constructed in La Défence, Paris. It is a palace for the French Congress that houses the main offices and also functions as a convenience store for the congressmen and their visitors.
After a complete refurbishment the Conference and Exhibition Center opened it doors again in the first week of October 2007 to host all types of professional and public events in a fully re-modernized venue, designed for even greater comfort, more light and more flexibility. It contains 2 Amphitheatres, more than 21 adaptable rooms, and has over 17,000 square meters of exhibition area. It is the biggest conference and exhibition center in Europe. CNIT is the authoritative leader of new industry and technologies for France.
