Programme
Leaving a Lasting Footprint is the result of a vision - a vision of a leader, of an organisation, of a team of individuals who feel strongly about making a difference. Each of us can have an impact on the future – you could call this our legacy.
The connection to the environment is an obvious and timely one. You cannot open a journal without reading about climate change. But the footprint idea for business also goes beyond the environment and community. The legacy that a company or individual can impact is clearly connected to sustainability as well. This sustainability is economic, of course, but also related to its people. How can a company continue to go forward unless it addresses the people dimension?
This year's event is a continuation to further define a high performing organisation.
Chantal Cuër, television and radio journalist, will moderate our event as a continuation to further define a high performing organisation.
- To leave a sustainable legacy, an excellent organisation must combine high performance and economic strength. These organisations are results-orientated, process driven and continuously innovate.
- To keep an organisation thriving and growing, the concentration on people must be at its forefront. The people dimension involves creating energy in individuals and teams who drive the organisation, engaging with customers and developing leaders for the next generation.
- Finally, but foremost in our minds today, leaving a lasting footprint should not actually physically leave a footprint when it comes to business. The environmental impact should be more than PR exercise for business.
Our keynote speakers and parallel session will explore three elements of a creating a lasting and beautiful footprint: combining high performance and economic sustainability, a new energy amongst people and teams, and looking beyond the organisation.
